A certain amount of resistance when using the Twist-to-Lock mechanism of the SP Connect Phone Case Xtreme is normal. This resistance may feel stronger when the mechanism is tested without an SP Connect mount.
To determine whether the mechanism is functioning correctly, we recommend testing the Phone Case Xtreme on a securely installed SP Connect mount.
Step-by-step instructions
- Install your SP Connect mount: Make sure that the mount is securely installed on the intended bicycle, motorcycle, car or other application.
- Insert your smartphone: Place your smartphone correctly inside the Phone Case Xtreme.
- Position the case: Place the mounting mechanism on the back of the Phone Case Xtreme fully and flat on the mounting head.
- Rotate the case: Turn the Phone Case Xtreme by 90° until it is securely locked to the mount.
Testing the Phone Case Xtreme on a securely installed mount provides the necessary stability and leverage to operate the mechanism correctly.
