The mechanism of my Phone Case Xtreme is suddenly locked – What can I do?Updated 16 days ago
In rare cases, the mechanism of the Phone Case Xtreme may become accidentally “over-rotated.” This usually happens when the interface is not positioned completely flat on an SP Connect mount during installation and slightly slips while locking.
In this situation, the mechanism remains in the locked position without being properly attached to a mount. As a result, the Phone Case Xtreme can no longer be mounted onto a holder.
Solution: Reset the mechanism using the SPC+ Tool
You can easily return the mechanism to the correct position using the included SPC+ Tool .
Important:
Make sure your smartphone is inside the Phone Case Xtreme before using the SPC+ Tool.
Step-by-step instructions
1) Stabilize
Hold the Phone Case Xtreme firmly in one hand.
2) Insert the tool correctly
Insert the SPC+ Tool fully and flat into the mechanism. Make sure it is in contact with two diagonally opposite corners at the same time.
3) Rotate the mechanism back
Turn the mechanism back by 90° using the SPC+ Tool. Slightly more force may be required—this is normal.

How to prevent accidental locking
When attaching the Phone Case Xtreme, always ensure it is positioned completely flat on the mount interface before turning it into the locked position. This prevents slipping and over-rotation of the mechanism.
