My smartphone's fingerprint sensor does not work properly with the Universal Phone Case LT. What can I do?Updated 4 months ago
The fingerprint sensor of your smartphone should continue to function normally when using the SP Connect Universal Phone Case LT.
If you experience issues with fingerprint recognition, we recommend the following steps to improve performance.
Optimising fingerprint recognition
1. Increase touchscreen sensitivity
- Enable enhanced touchscreen sensitivity in your smartphone's settings, if available.
2. Clean the display
- Clean the display using distilled water or a mild, alcohol-free cleaning solution.
3. Re-register your fingerprint
- Delete and register your fingerprint again while the smartphone is already placed inside the Universal Phone Case LT.
4. Slightly moisten your finger
- Lightly moisten your finger to help improve recognition accuracy.
5. Check for software updates
- Make sure your smartphone is running the latest available software version.
6. Remove any existing screen protector
- Additional screen protectors may affect fingerprint sensor performance. Remove any existing screen protector and test fingerprint recognition again.
