To connect the SP-Connect Charging Module directly to your motorcycle battery, you will need the Cable 12V DC.
Why is the Cable 12V DC required?
The included Cable USB-C is designed exclusively for connection to a suitable USB power source.
- It does not contain a voltage converter.
- It cannot convert your motorcycle's battery voltage to the voltage required by the Charging Module.
- For direct connection to a motorcycle battery, the Cable 12V DC is therefore required.
Recommended installation
We recommend connecting the Cable 12V DC via an ignition-switched power source.
- Power is automatically disconnected when the ignition is switched off.
- This prevents unnecessary power consumption while the motorcycle is parked.
- It helps protect your motorcycle battery.
