I am unable to completely seal the display housing and back cover of my Phone Case Xtreme. Why is this happening and what can I do?Updated 18 days ago

If the display housing and back of your Phone Case Xtreme cannot be fully closed, there may be several possible reasons.


Possible causes

1) Screen protector on the smartphone

The Phone Case Xtreme generally does not guarantee compatibility with existing screen protectors. If a screen protector is applied to the display, it may prevent the two components of the case from closing properly.

If you are using a screen protector, please remove it and then try closing the Phone Case Xtreme again.


2) Check your smartphone model

Make sure that your smartphone matches the intended model.

How to check your smartphone model:

iPhone:
Settings → General → About → Model Name

Android:
Settings → About phone → Model name




 3) Check the model of the Phone Case Xtreme 

Make sure that the Phone Case Xtreme exactly matches your smartphone model.

The supported smartphone model is printed on the upper left side on the back of the Phone Case Xtreme.


If the problem persists

If no screen protector is being used and the Phone Case Xtreme model matches your smartphone model, please contact our Customer Support and send us the following information:

  • A screenshot of your smartphone model from the device settings

  • A photo of the model designation on the back of the Phone Case Xtreme

  • Several photos or a short video showing the issue

  • Your order number from our online store or a proof of purchase, as well as your delivery address
