I’m not satisfied with the audio quality when making phone calls with the Phone Case Xtreme. What can I do?Updated 18 days ago

The Phone Case Xtreme is designed for maximum device protection and is IP68-rated water- and dustproof. This sealing can affect sound transmission—especially when using speakerphone or when the microphone/speaker is more heavily dampened by the sealed construction.

Quick fix:
For noticeably better audio quality during calls, we recommend opening the covers for the charging and headphone ports. This can significantly improve sound transmission.

If the issue persists, please check the following:

  • Call volume: Make sure the in-call volume isn’t set too low (increase it using the volume buttons during a call).

  • Bluetooth: Temporarily disable Bluetooth to ensure audio isn’t being routed to another device (e.g., headset or car): Settings > Bluetooth.

  • Microphone access: Check that microphone permissions are enabled: Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.

  • Audio output: During a call, tap the speaker/audio icon to confirm the correct output is selected (Receiver / Speaker / Bluetooth).

  • iOS update: Ensure iOS is up to date: Settings > General > Software Update.

  • Restart: Restart your iPhone to rule out temporary software issues.

  • Reset network settings (if you’re experiencing connection issues): Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
