How is the Aero Mount Pro attached to the bicycle stem?Updated 2 months ago
The SP-Connect Aero Mount Pro is mounted directly onto your bike stem using the original 3M adhesive pad.
A smooth, clean, and grease-free surface with a minimum size of 55 mm x 30 mm is required.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Prepare the surface
- Clean the mounting area on the stem thoroughly
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free
2. Position the mount
- Carefully position the Aero Mount Pro in the desired location
- Please note: Once applied, the mount cannot be repositioned
3. Attach the mount
- Press the mount down firmly for at least 30 seconds
- Make sure the adhesive surface is fully in contact
4. Allow curing time
- Let the adhesive cure for several hours depending on temperature
- Do not fully load the mount until curing is complete
Additional security
A set of O-rings is included to provide additional fixation on the stem.
