You can easily upgrade your SP Connect Brake Mount to the SP Connect Mag-Align system.
The dedicated mounting head for the Brake Mount is the SP Connect Mag-Align Head C. If you also want vibration damping or wireless charging, additional upgrade options are available.
Which upgrade options are available?
Option 1: Mag-Align Head C
The Mag-Align Head C is the standard Mag-Align solution designed for the Brake Mount. It replaces the existing mounting head and makes attaching your SP Connect Phone Case faster, easier, and more intuitive thanks to the magnetic guidance of the Mag-Align system.
Option 2: Mag-Align Head A with vibration damping
The SP Connect Mag-Align Head A additionally features integrated vibration damping. It reduces road vibrations as well as bumps and impacts, providing a smoother and more stable mounting experience for your smartphone.
To install the Mag-Align Head A on the Brake Mount, you will also need the SP Connect Sprocket Adapter. This must be purchased separately.
Option 3: Anti Vibration Module
The SP Connect Anti Vibration Module is specifically designed to reduce high-frequency engine vibrations and provide the best possible protection for sensitive smartphone camera components. It also absorbs road vibrations, bumps, and impacts.
The required Sprocket Adapter is already included with the Anti Vibration Module.
Option 4: Charging Anti Vibration Module
The SP Connect Charging Anti Vibration Module provides the same protection against high-frequency engine vibrations as the Anti Vibration Module and additionally features integrated wireless charging.
The required Sprocket Adapter is also included with the Charging Anti Vibration Module.

Installing the Mag-Align Head C
1. Remove the existing mounting head
- Loosen the Allen screw on the mounting head.
- Completely remove the existing mounting head from the Brake Mount.
2. Install the Mag-Align Head C
- Place the Mag-Align Head C onto the exposed sprocket interface.
- Secure it using the designated Allen screw.
- Tighten the screw according to the instructions for the Mag-Align Head C.
Installing upgrade options with vibration damping
The Mag-Align Head A, Anti Vibration Module, and Charging Anti Vibration Module are installed using a Sprocket Adapter:
- Remove the existing mounting head from the Brake Mount.
- Place the Sprocket Adapter onto the sprocket interface of the Brake Mount.
- Insert the desired upgrade component into the Sprocket Adapter.
- Adjust the component to the desired position.
- Secure it using the specified screw and the torque stated in the corresponding manual.
Check the installation
- Make sure the new mounting head or installed module is securely attached and cannot rotate unintentionally.
- Check that all screws are correctly tightened before use.
- Before every ride, check that the mount is securely attached.
