How can I remove the Universal Interface without leaving any 3M adhesive residue?Updated a month ago
To remove the Universal Interface, we recommend gently warming the adhesive area with a hair dryer or heat gun on a low setting. This softens the 3M adhesive, allowing the interface to be lifted off slowly and evenly without damaging the surface.
Any remaining adhesive residue can be removed with an appropriate adhesive remover, a small amount of cleaning benzine, or isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Use a soft cloth and avoid heavy rubbing to prevent scratches.
Tip: Always test the solvent on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not damage the material.
