For motorcycles with tapered or angled handlebars, we recommend the SP Connect Moto Mount 3D.
Unlike conventional handlebar mounts, the Moto Mount 3D can also be securely and firmly attached to a tapered section of the motorcycle handlebar using the included tapered adapters.
Installation on tapered handlebars
The Moto Mount 3D includes various spacer and tapered adapters, allowing the mount to be adapted to different handlebar diameters and shapes.
Spacer adapters:
- 22.2 mm / 0.875 inches
- 25.4 mm / 1.0 inch
- 27 mm / 1.063 inches
- 28.5 mm / 1.125 inches
Tapered adapters:
- 2°
- 3.5°
The tapered adapters compensate for the angle of the handlebar, allowing the Moto Mount 3D to be securely and firmly installed even in areas where the handlebar is not completely cylindrical.
Flexible positioning in the cockpit
The Moto Mount 3D also offers particularly flexible options for positioning your smartphone.
- Two mounting rods of different lengths are included.
- The smartphone mounting element can be continuously adjusted along the mounting rod.
- The mounting element can also be freely rotated.
This allows you to adapt the position of your smartphone to the available space and your preferred viewing angle in the cockpit. This is particularly useful on motorcycles where instruments, displays, windscreens or other components leave limited space for a smartphone mount.
