Which cables can I use with the Charging Anti Vibration Module?Updated 4 months ago

The SP-Connect Charging Anti Vibration Module can be used with various SP Connect power cables, depending on whether you want to power it from a USB source, a motorcycle battery, or an e-bike electrical system.

Direct Connection to a Motorcycle or E-Bike

Compatibility with Existing SPC Cables

If your motorcycle is already equipped with the previous SPC 12V Hard Wire Cable, it can still be used with the Charging Anti Vibration Module.

Simply replace the existing USB-A or USB-C cable with the included Cable USB-C (50 cm) supplied with the Charging Anti Vibration Module.

If you already have the previous SPC Cable Wireless Charger installed on your motorcycle, it will also function with the Charging Anti Vibration Module. However, please note that the USB-C connection between the cable and the module will not be weather-sealed in this setup.

Using Third-Party Cables

In principle, other USB-C cables can also be used.

However, please note that third-party cables, as well as the previous SPC Cable Wireless Charger, do not provide a weatherproof seal at the USB-C connection of the Charging Anti Vibration Module.

Summary

The Charging Anti Vibration Module supports a variety of connection options for USB power sources, motorcycles, and e-bikes. For optimal performance and weather resistance, we recommend using original SP Connect power cables.
