The SP-Connect Camera/Light Adapter Kit offers additional practical applications beyond mounting a SP-Connect Bike Front Light 270 or a GoPro action camera.

Optimize Smartphone Positioning

The Camera/Light Adapter Kit can be used with any SP Connect mount featuring the patented Twist-to-Lock mechanism.

• Raises the smartphone position by approximately 20 mm
• Allows the viewing angle of the smartphone to be adjusted
• Can improve smartphone visibility and accessibility while riding

This setup is particularly useful when a high stem, handlebar bag, bike computer, or other accessories prevent the smartphone from being mounted directly onto the SP Connect mount using the standard 90° Twist-to-Lock rotation.

Installing the Camera/Light Adapter Kit

1. Install the SP Connect Mount

• First, attach your SP Connect mount to the bicycle.
• Make sure the mount is securely fastened.

2. Attach the Camera/Light Adapter

• Lift the locking lever on the Camera/Light Adapter.
• Place the adapter fully onto the mount interface.
• Ensure that the semi-circular rails and the opened locking lever are initially aligned horizontally.
• Rotate the adapter by 90° until the rails and lever are aligned vertically.
• Push the lever down until it clicks into place and securely locks the adapter.

3. Install the Swivel Adapter

• Insert the Swivel Adapter into the Camera/Light Adapter.
• Secure both components using either the Quick Screw (tool-free) or the supplied Allen screw.
• Always insert the screw from the side without the metal reinforcement plate.
