What is the difference between the Brake Mount and the Brake Mount Large?Updated a month ago

The SP Connect Brake Mount and the SP Connect Brake Mount Large are identical in terms of function and design. The only difference is their compatibility with different brake fluid reservoirs.

The Brake Mount Large is designed for installation on larger brake fluid reservoirs.

Which Brake Mount fits my brake fluid reservoir?

  • Brake Mount: Mounting hole spacing from 40.5 to 61.5 mm
  • Brake Mount Large: Mounting hole spacing from 51 to 81 mm

Before purchasing, measure the distance between the mounting screws on your brake fluid reservoir and select the appropriate version according to the specified dimensions.

If the mounting hole spacing is between 51 and 61.5 mm, both versions are generally suitable. In this case, you can use either the Brake Mount or the Brake Mount Large.

Summary

The Brake Mount and Brake Mount Large offer the same functionality. The Brake Mount is suitable for mounting hole spacing from 40.5 to 61.5 mm, while the Brake Mount Large is designed for larger brake fluid reservoirs with mounting hole spacing from 51 to 81 mm. The distance between the mounting screws on your brake fluid reservoir is therefore the key factor when choosing the correct version.
