The mechanism of my phone case is suddenly locked. What can I do?Updated 22 days ago
In rare cases, the mechanism of the Phone Case may accidentally be “over-rotated.” This usually happens when the interface is not placed completely flat on an SP Connect mount during installation and slightly slips while locking.
In this situation, the mechanism ends up in the locked position without being correctly attached to a mount. As a result, the Phone Case can no longer be mounted onto a holder.
Solution: Rotate the mechanism back using the SPC+ Tool
You can easily return the mechanism to the correct position using the included SPC+ Tool .
Important:
Make sure your smartphone is inside the Phone Case before using the SPC+ Tool.
Step-by-step instructions
1) Stabilize
Hold the Phone Case firmly with one hand.
2) Insert the tool correctly
Insert the SPC+ Tool fully and flat into the mechanism. Make sure it touches two diagonally opposite corners at the same time.
3) Rotate the mechanism back
Turn the mechanism back 90 degrees using the SPC+ Tool. You may need to apply a bit more force — this is normal.
You can find instructions how to do so in the manual here:
How to avoid accidental locking
When attaching the Phone Case, always ensure that it sits completely flat on the mount interface before rotating it into the locked position. This prevents slipping and over-rotating the mechanism.
