The SP Connect Moto Mount LT comes with two height adapters:
- 5 mm height adapter (pre-installed)
- 10 mm height adapter (included)
The Moto Mount LT comes standard with the 5 mm height adapter installed. If the clearance between the clamp and arm is too small due to the shape of the handlebar, handlebar clamps, cables or other components, you can simply replace the pre-installed height adapter with the included 10 mm height adapter. This increases the clearance between the clamp and arm and provides additional space for secure installation.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Remove the arm
- Loosen the arm mounting screw and remove the arm from the clamp.
2. Replace the height adapter
- Remove the pre-installed 5 mm height adapter.
- Install the included 10 mm height adapter.
3. Reinstall the arm
- Reattach the arm to the clamp.
- Tighten the screw to the torque specified in the instructions.
Check the fit
- Make sure there is sufficient clearance between the arm and any handlebar clamps, cables or other components.
- Before every ride, check that the screw connection is secure.
