The SP Connect Phone Case, the SP Connect Phone Case Xtreme and SP Connect Design Edition Phone Cases support wireless charging, provided that your smartphone itself supports this feature.
The Phone Cases are designed for use with wireless SP Connect charging solutions as well as compatible Qi, Qi2 and Apple MagSafe chargers. However, actual compatibility and charging performance may vary with third-party charging stations.
Why can problems occur with third-party charging stations?
The design, position of the charging coils and supported charging standards can vary depending on the manufacturer and charger. As a result, your smartphone may not charge or may only charge intermittently with the Phone Case attached.
Possible causes include:
- The charging coils of the smartphone and charging station are not optimally aligned.
- The charging station does not support the optimal charging standard for your smartphone.
- The power supply being used does not provide sufficient power.
- The smartphone or charging station does not support certain fast-charging features.
What can I check?

- First, make sure that your smartphone itself supports wireless charging.
- Position your smartphone as centrally as possible on the charging station and check whether charging begins.
- Remove the Phone Case temporarily and check whether the smartphone charges reliably without the Case.
- Check whether the charging station and power supply provide the power required by your smartphone.
- If supported by the charger, a suitable power supply with Power Delivery (PD) or Quick Charge may be required to achieve the intended charging performance.
