My smartphone charges too slowly with the Charging Module. Why is that and what can I do?Updated 2 months ago

Our SPC+ Charging Modules provide wireless charging of up to 15 watts. However, the actual charging speed can vary due to several factors.

For example, it depends on which smartphone you use and how well it interacts with the charging module. Some phones support wireless charging more efficiently than others.

Your smartphone settings can also influence charging speed. External factors — especially temperature — also play a crucial role.

If you are not satisfied with the charging speed, here are a few tips we recommend:

  • Set your smartphone’s display to adaptive brightness to save power and close any background apps that may consume additional resources.
  • When navigating, use offline maps to avoid constant data downloads and the resulting increase in energy consumption.
  • Keep your charger and smartphone out of direct sunlight, as excessive heat can reduce charging speed.
  • Whenever possible, keep your smartphone and the charging module in a cooler environment — ideally around 20°C.
  • Use components that support Power Delivery or Quick Charge 3.0. These advanced technologies enable more efficient power transfer and better adjustment to your smartphone’s specific requirements.

If you have tried these tips and the charging speed is still not satisfactory, please contact our Customer Support. Send us your order number from our online shop or a proof of purchase together with your delivery address. Also include the exact specifications of the components you are using, such as the model of your charger and charging module, as well as the connection method. This helps us investigate the issue more accurately and provide the best possible support. You can reach our support at [email protected]
