My iPhone won't charge with my SP Connect Phone Case or Phone Case Xtreme on my certified Apple MagSafe® charger. Why is this and what can I do?Updated 10 days ago

In general, wireless charging of a compatible iPhone with the SP Connect Phone Case or the SP Connect Phone Case Xtreme should work with a certified Apple MagSafe® charger.

If charging does not start or does not work reliably, we recommend following the steps below.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Update iOS: Make sure that the latest version of iOS is installed on your iPhone. You can find information on how to update your iPhone directly from Apple Support.
  2. Restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone and then test wireless charging again.
  3. Reconnect the MagSafe® charger: Disconnect the charger from the power supply briefly and then reconnect it.
  4. Check the power supply: If possible, test a different suitable power adapter to rule out an issue with the power supply.
  5. Test charging without the Phone Case: Remove the Phone Case and check whether your iPhone charges reliably on the same MagSafe® charger without the Case.

What can I do if the problem persists?

If your iPhone charges reliably without the Phone Case but charging still does not work with the SP Connect Phone Case or Phone Case Xtreme, please contact our Customer Support at [email protected].

Please send us:

  • the exact iPhone model
  • a short video showing that charging does not start
  • the exact model of the Apple MagSafe® charger being used
  • information about the power adapter being used
  • your order number or proof of purchase
  • your full delivery address

We will then be happy to check the combination you are using and help you find a solution.

Summary

The SP Connect Phone Case and Phone Case Xtreme are suitable for use with Apple MagSafe® chargers. If your iPhone still does not charge, first check iOS, your iPhone, the charger and the power supply. Testing wireless charging without the Phone Case can also help determine whether the issue occurs specifically when the Case is being used.
