Is the Stem Mount Pro compatible with the Rotation Module?Updated 2 months ago
Yes. The current version of the SP- Connect Stem Mount Pro can be used with the SP-Connect Rotation Module.
To use it, you will also need the following item:
Please note: The Rotation Module and the Mag-Align Head A are not included with the Stem Mount Pro and must be purchased separately.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Prepare the mount
- Install the Stem Mount Pro on your bike’s stem
- Loosen the mounting head screw using the included Allen key
- Remove the mounting head and screw completely
2. Insert adapter
- Insert the sprocket adapter from the Mag-Align Head A into the mount
3. Install Rotation Module
- Mount the Rotation Module together with the Mag-Align Head A
- Follow the included instructions (figure V2)
- Tighten the screw with a torque of 2 Nm
Check installation
- Ensure all components are securely mounted
- Check that nothing moves before use
Result
You can now adjust the orientation of your smartphone tool-free and flexibly at any time. In addition, the Mag-Align Head A offers:
- Magnetic guidance for easy positioning
- Faster and more precise mounting
- Additional damping

Compatibility note
Please note that there is also an older version of the Stem Mount Pro which is not compatible with the Rotation Module.
How to identify your version
1. Current version (compatible)
- There are four stamped holes at the front mounting point
- This version is compatible with the Mag-Align Head A
2. Older version (not compatible)
- There is a toothed interface under the mounting head
- This version is not compatible with the Rotation Module
Important for checking
- Remove the mounting head to identify the design
- The difference is only visible when the head is removed
