Yes. The SP Connect Moto Mount 3D 1½″ is fully compatible with the SP Connect Rotation Module.
Please note: The Rotation Module is not included with the Moto Mount 3D 1½″ and must be purchased separately.
We recommend fully installing the Moto Mount 3D 1½″ on your motorcycle first and then installing the Rotation Module.
Option 1: Installation on the Moto Mount 3D 1½″ with arm
If you use the Moto Mount 3D 1½″ with the standard arm, install the Rotation Module as follows:
1. Remove the mount head
- Use the supplied Allen key to loosen the Allen screw securing the mount head to the Moto Mount 3D 1½″.
- Completely remove the existing mount head from the Moto Mount 3D 1½″.
2. Install the Rotation Module
- Install the Rotation Module together with the mount head of the Moto Mount 3D 1½″.
- Follow the instructions supplied with the Rotation Module (illustration V2).
3. Secure the components
- Tighten all screws to a torque of 3 Nm.
Option 2: Installation directly on the clamp (without arm)
If you want to use the Moto Mount 3D 1½″ without the arm, you will additionally need an SP Connect Sprocket Adapter.
Please note: The Sprocket Adapter is not included with the Moto Mount 3D 1½″ or the Rotation Module. However, it is included with the Anti Vibration Module and Charging Anti Vibration Module and can also be purchased separately.
1. Install the Moto Mount 3D 1½″
- First, fully install the Moto Mount 3D 1½″ on your motorcycle.
2. Remove the arm
- Loosen the screw connecting the arm to the clamp.
- Completely remove the arm, the screw and the height adapter underneath.
3. Install the Sprocket Adapter
- Place the SP Connect Sprocket Adapter onto the now exposed sprocket ring of the clamp.
4. Install the Rotation Module
- Insert the Rotation Module into the sprocket mount of the Sprocket Adapter.
- Follow the instructions supplied with the Rotation Module (illustration V2).
- Tighten the screws to a torque of 3 Nm.
Check the installation
- Make sure that all components are securely installed.
- Before use, check that none of the components can move or come loose.
