Yes. The SP Connect Handlebar Mount is compatible with all current SP Connect universal mounting solutions featuring the SPC+ system.

Thanks to the SP Connect Twist-to-Lock mechanism, you can securely attach your smartphone using a compatible universal solution, even if a dedicated SP Connect Phone Case is not available for your device.

Which Universal Solutions Are Compatible?

The Handlebar Mount supports the following SP Connect universal solutions:

• Universal Phone Clamp
• Universal Charging Phone Clamp
• Universal Phone Holder

Important information about the Universal Phone Holder: The Universal Phone Holder is designed for horizontal smartphone orientation by default. However, the mounting head of the Handlebar Mount can be rotated by 90° using the included Allen key, allowing you to use the Universal Phone Holder in portrait orientation as well.

Please note: All universal solutions are sold separately and are not included with the Handlebar Mount.

Important: Compatibility with Older SPC Universal Solutions

The current Handlebar Mount uses the SPC+ mounting system and is not directly compatible with older SPC universal solutions.

You can identify the two systems by examining their mounting interfaces:

• SPC+ (current system): Features semicircular mounting rails and is compatible with the Handlebar Mount.
• SPC (older system): Features straight mounting rails and is not directly compatible with the current Handlebar Mount.

If you own an older SPC universal solution, a suitable adapter or an upgrade to a current SPC+ universal solution is required.

How Do I Attach a Universal Solution to the Handlebar Mount?

All compatible SP Connect universal solutions use the same Twist-to-Lock mounting principle.

1. Install the Handlebar Mount: Attach the Handlebar Mount to a compatible section of your bicycle's handlebars and ensure that it is securely fastened.
2. Prepare your universal solution: Secure your smartphone using the corresponding Universal Interface, Universal Phone Case, Phone Clamp, or Phone Holder. Follow the installation instructions for your specific product.
3. Position the universal solution: Place its SPC+ mounting interface flat against the mounting head of the Handlebar Mount.
4. Secure the connection: Rotate the universal solution by 90° until the Twist-to-Lock mechanism is fully engaged.
5. Check the installation: Ensure that both your smartphone and the universal solution are securely attached before starting your ride.

To remove your smartphone, rotate the universal solution by 90° in the opposite direction and lift it away from the mounting head.

Important Installation Information

• Universal Interface and Universal Interface Mini: Ensure that the adhesive interface has been correctly installed on a suitable, smooth, flat surface in accordance with the product instructions. Do not attach an adhesive Universal Interface directly to your smartphone.
• Universal Phone Cases: Make sure your smartphone fits within the supported dimensions and that the case is correctly closed and secured.
• Universal Phone Clamp and Universal Phone Holder: Ensure that your smartphone is securely held by the clamping mechanism before attaching it to the Handlebar Mount.
• Universal Charging Phone Clamp: A suitable external power supply and a Qi-compatible smartphone are required to use the wireless charging function.

Always verify that the Twist-to-Lock connection is fully engaged and that your smartphone cannot move unintentionally before riding.
