Yes, but only in certain use cases.
Primary Purpose of the Camera/Light Adapter Kit
The SP Connect Camera/Light Adapter Kit was primarily developed for the simultaneous use of a smartphone together with a Bike Front Light 270 or a GoPro action camera.
In this configuration, the Camera/Light Adapter Kit is mounted on the underside of selected SP Connect bicycle mounts.
- The smartphone is mounted on the top side of the mount.
- The Bike Front Light 270 or GoPro action camera is mounted on the underside of the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.
Compatible Bicycle Mounts for the Primary Use Case
The simultaneous use of a smartphone together with a Bike Front Light 270 or a GoPro action camera is intended for the following SP Connect bicycle mounts:
Important Note
In this configuration, the Camera/Light Adapter Kit is not compatible with the Charging Module and is not intended for this purpose.
Using the Camera/Light Adapter Kit with the Charging Module
The Camera/Light Adapter Kit can also be mounted on the top side of a compatible SP Connect mount.
- The SP Connect Charging Module can then be attached to the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.
- Afterwards you can connect your smartphone using either an SP-Connect Phone Case or a SP-Connect Universal Solution.
- The Camera/Light Adapter Kit raises the smartphone position by approximately 20mm and also allows the viewing angle to be adjusted.
Result
In its primary application, the Camera/Light Adapter Kit is not compatible with the Charging Module. However, when used on top of a compatible mount to raise and angle the smartphone, the Charging Module can be mounted without any issues.
