Yes. The SP-Connect Cable 6V DC is IP65-rated when used in combination with a compatible SP Connect charging solution.
Compatible SP Connect charging solutions
The IP65 protection rating is achieved only when used with one of the following SP Connect products:
- SP-Connect Charging Module
- SP-Connect Charging Anti Vibration Module
- SP-Connect Universal Charging Phone Clamp
The USB-C connector of the Cable 6V DC and the USB-C port of these SP Connect charging solutions are precisely matched. Only this exact connection provides the IP65 weather protection.
What does IP65 mean?
- Dust-tight: Complete protection against dust ingress.
- Protected against water jets: Protection against water jets from any direction.
Important note
