Yes. The SP-Connect Cable 12V DC is rated IP65 when used in combination with a compatible SP Connect charging product.

Compatible SP Connect charging products

The IP65 protection rating is achieved only when the Cable 12V DC is used together with one of the following SP Connect products:

• SP Connect Charging Module
• SP Connect Charging Anti Vibration Module
• SP Connect Universal Charging Phone Clamp

The USB-C connector of the Cable 12V DC and the USB-C port of these SP Connect charging products are precisely matched. Only this sealed connection provides IP65 weather protection.

What does IP65 mean?

• Dust-tight: Complete protection against dust ingress.
• Protected against water jets: Resistant to water jets from any direction.

Important note

The IP65 protection rating applies only when the Cable 12V DC is connected to one of the compatible SP Connect charging products listed above.
