No. Unfortunately, an existing SP Connect SPC Anti Vibration Module with straight rails cannot be upgraded to the current system with semi-circular rails (SPC+) for technical reasons.

Unlike various other SP Connect mounts, the mounting head of the SPC Anti Vibration Module cannot be replaced.

Can I still use a current SP Connect Phone Case?

Yes. A current SP Connect Phone Case with semi-circular rails can still be used with the classic SPC Anti Vibration Module by using the included Adapter SPC+.

The adapter is placed between the SPC Anti Vibration Module and the current SP Connect Phone Case, allowing the two systems to be connected.

Why do we still recommend switching to the current Anti Vibration Module?

The adapter does not offer the same rigidity as the aluminum construction of the current Anti Vibration Module. In addition, when using the adapter, the Phone Case cannot rest directly on the outer ring of the Anti Vibration Module.

For an optimal and as stable as possible connection, we therefore recommend switching to the current SP Connect Anti Vibration Module.
