I still have a classic SPC Saddle Case Set with straight rails. How can I upgrade to the new system with rounded rails?Updated 2 months ago
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a dedicated upgrade head to convert the SPC Saddle Case Set (with straight rails) to the current system due to technical reasons.
However, you can continue using your SPC Saddle Case Set with the current system by using the following adapter:
Using this adapter, you can also attach the SP-Connect Bike Rear Light to your Saddle Case.
Step by Step Instructions
1. Mount the Saddle Mount
- Position the Saddle Mount on the saddle rails of your bicycle
- Tighten it according to the instructions until securely fixed
2. Attach the Saddle Case
- Place the mechanism of the Saddle Case flat (fully) onto the interface of the Saddle Mount
- Turn it 90° using the Twist-to-Lock system into the locked position
3. Install the SPC+ Adapter
- Open the center lever of the Adapter SPC+
- Place the adapter fully onto the top interface of your Saddle Case
- Ensure the lever is aligned horizontally
- Rotate the adapter 90° until the lever is vertical
- Fold the lever down until it clicks into place
4. Attach the rear light
- Place the Bike Rear Light flat onto the interface of the Adapter SPC+
- Turn it 90° until it securely locks into place
Result
You can continue using your Saddle Case while benefiting from the current SPC+ system – without replacing your entire setup.
