No. A classic SPC Phone Case with straight rails is not compatible with the SP Connect Vent Mount and cannot be upgraded for use with it.

This is due to the different mounting systems:

• The Vent Mount works exclusively with a magnetic attachment system
• The classic SPC Phone Case does not include an integrated magnet

For this reason, it cannot be used in combination with the Vent Mount.

Compatible Products

The  SP-Connect Vent Mount  is only compatible with:

• the current  SP-Connect Phone Case (with half-rounded rails and integrated magnet)
• the  SP-Connect Universal Interface

Result

To use the Vent Mount, you need a current SP Connect system with magnetic functionality. A classic SPC Phone Case is not suitable.
