You can easily upgrade your SP Connect SPC Moto Stem Mount to the current system with rounded rails (SPC+) without having to replace the entire mount.
Only the mounting head (Head) needs to be replaced. The rest of the mount remains unchanged.
For the upgrade, you will need the following product:
Step-by-step instructions
1. Remove the old SPC head (straight rails)
- Loosen the Allen screw on the mounting head using the Allen key supplied with the Moto Stem Mount.
- Completely remove the existing SPC head from the mount.
2. Install the new SPC+ head
- Insert the Head SPC+ Brake, Micro Bike, Uni Bike, Mirror into the mounting interface.
- Make sure that the head is correctly positioned and sits flush.
3. Secure the head
- Reinsert the Allen screw.
- Tighten the screw evenly.
- Use a torque of 3 Nm to ensure a secure and correct installation.
Check the installation
- Make sure that the new head is securely installed and does not move.
- Before use, check that all screws are correctly tightened.
