You can easily upgrade your SP Connect SPC Moto Mount Pro to the current system with semi-circular rails (SPC+) without having to replace the entire mount.
Only the mounting head (Head) needs to be replaced. The rest of the mount remains unchanged.
For the upgrade, you need the following item:
Step-by-step instructions
1. Remove the old SPC head (straight rails)
- Loosen the Allen screw on the mounting head using the Allen key included with the Moto Mount Pro.
- Completely remove the existing SPC head from the mount.
2. Install the new SPC+ head
- Insert the Head SPC+ Moto Pro (MTB) into the mount.
- Make sure the head is positioned correctly and sits flat.
3. Secure the head
- Reinsert the Allen screw.
- Tighten the screw evenly.
- Use a torque of 3 Nm to ensure a secure and correct installation.
Check the fit
- Make sure the new head is securely installed and does not move.
- Before use, check that all screws are correctly tightened.
