You can easily upgrade your SP Connect SPC Moto Mount LT to the current system with semicircular rails (SPC+) without having to replace the entire mount.
Only the mounting head (Head) needs to be replaced. The rest of the mount remains unchanged.
For the upgrade, you will need the following item:
Step-by-step instructions
1. Remove the old SPC head (straight rails)
- Loosen the Allen screw on the mounting head using the Allen key included with the Moto Mount LT.
- Completely remove the existing SPC head from the mount.
2. Install the new SPC+ head
- Insert the Head SPC+ Moto LT into the mounting interface.
- Make sure the head is correctly positioned and sits flush.
3. Secure the head
- Reinsert the Allen screw.
- Tighten the screw evenly.
- Use a torque of 3 Nm to ensure correct and secure installation.
Check the fit
- Make sure the new head is securely installed and cannot move.
- Before use, check that all screws are correctly tightened.
