You can easily upgrade your SP Connect SPC Clutch Mount Pro to the current system with rounded rails (SPC+) without having to replace the entire mount.
Only the mounting head (Head) needs to be replaced. The rest of the mount remains unchanged.
For the upgrade, you will need the following product:
Step-by-step instructions
1. Remove the old SPC head (straight rails)
- Loosen the Allen screw on the mounting head using the Allen key supplied with the Clutch Mount Pro.
- Completely remove the existing SPC head from the mount.
2. Install the new SPC+ head
- Insert the Head SPC+ Moto Pro (MTB) into the mounting interface.
- Make sure the head is correctly positioned and sits flush.
3. Secure the head
- Reinsert the Allen screw.
- Tighten the screw evenly.
- Tighten the screw to a torque of 3 Nm to ensure a safe and correct installation.
Check the installation
- Make sure the new head is securely installed and cannot move.
- Before use, check that all screws are correctly tightened.
