You can easily upgrade your SP Connect SPC Bar Clamp Mount Pro to the current system with semi-circular rails (SPC+) – without having to replace the entire mount.
Only the mounting head (Head) needs to be replaced. The rest of the mount remains unchanged.
For the upgrade, you will need the following item:
Step-by-step instructions
1. Remove the old SPC head (straight rails)
- Loosen the hex screw on the mounting head using the Allen key supplied with the Bar Clamp Mount Pro.
- Completely remove the existing SPC head from the mount.
2. Install the new SPC+ head
- Insert the Head SPC+ Moto Pro (MTB) into the mount.
- Make sure the head is correctly positioned and sits flush.
3. Secure the head
- Reinsert the hex screw.
- Tighten the screw evenly.
- Use a torque of 3 Nm to ensure a secure and correct installation.
Check the installation
- Make sure the new head is securely installed and cannot move.
- Before use, check that all screws are correctly tightened.
