Yes. The current SP Connect Anti Vibration Module is also compatible with classic SPC motorcycle mounts (straight rails).
Although the Anti Vibration Module already features the current system with Mag-Align and semi-circular rails, the connection to the mount itself has remained unchanged. The module can therefore be installed on compatible SPC motorcycle mounts without an additional adapter.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Remove the existing mounting head
- Loosen the screw on the mounting head of your SPC motorcycle mount.
- Remove the existing mounting head completely.
2. Install the Anti Vibration Module
- Insert the SP Connect Anti Vibration Module into the existing toothed mounting interface of the mount.
- Secure the module using the supplied screw.
- Tighten the screw according to the installation instructions.
Important note
After the upgrade, your mount will feature the current SPC+ system with Mag-Align. This means that only current-generation SP Connect Phone Cases and universal solutions (semi-circular rails) can be used afterwards. Classic SPC Phone Cases with straight rails are not compatible with the Anti Vibration Module.
