The SP Connect Universal Charging Phone Clamp securely attaches to a compatible SP Connect mount using the patented Twist-to-Lock mechanism.
We recommend fully installing the SP Connect mount on your vehicle first and then attaching the Universal Charging Phone Clamp.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Install the SP Connect mount
- Securely install your compatible SP Connect mount on the vehicle according to the respective instructions.
- Make sure the mount is firmly secured and cannot move or rotate unintentionally.
2. Prepare the Universal Charging Phone Clamp
- Pull out the crown on the Universal Charging Phone Clamp to unlock the clamping mechanism.
- Adjust the opening of the clamping mechanism to the size of your smartphone.
3. Insert and secure the smartphone
- Place your smartphone centrally in the Universal Charging Phone Clamp.
- Turn the adjustment screw until your smartphone is held securely and firmly in place.
4. Lock the adjustment
- Push the crown back in to lock the selected adjustment.
5. Attach the Universal Charging Phone Clamp
- Place the Universal Charging Phone Clamp with the smartphone inserted completely and flat onto the mounting interface of the SP Connect mount.
- Rotate the Universal Charging Phone Clamp 90° clockwise until it securely locks into position.
Check for a secure fit
- Make sure the SP Connect mount is securely installed on the vehicle.
- Check that the Universal Charging Phone Clamp is fully locked into position.
- Make sure your smartphone is securely held in the clamping mechanism.
- Check that all components are securely attached before every ride.
