Installing the SP Connect Handlebar Mount Pro is quick and easy.
Mounting the Handlebar Mount Pro
1. Position the clamp
- Open the clamp
- Place it at the desired position on the handlebar
2. Insert the appropriate reduction rings
- Use the included reduction rings
- For a handlebar diameter of 35 mm (1 3/8"), the clamp is mounted directly onto the handlebar without using a reduction ring.
To protect the handlebar surface from scratches, it is recommended to use the included 3M adhesive strip. - Adjust the clamp to fit the handlebar diameter perfectly
3. Tighten the clamp
- Tighten the screws evenly and securely
- Use a torque of 2.5 Nm to ensure a safe installation
4. Use surface protection (optional)
- Apply the included 3M adhesive strip between the clamp and the handlebar
- This helps protect the handlebar from scratches
Compatible handlebar diameters
- 25.4 mm (standard ISO 1")
- 31.8 mm (oversized MTB & drop bar 1 1/4")
- 35 mm (1 3/8")
Note: For 35 mm handlebars, the clamp is mounted without reduction rings directly onto the handlebar. To prevent scratches, use the included 3M adhesive strip in this case.
Check fit
- Make sure the Handlebar Mount Pro is firmly attached to the handlebar
- Before riding, check that the mount does not move
