The SP Connect GPS Cradle Mount is mounted directly onto a compatible GPS navigation mount with a Garmin® AMPS hole pattern (38 × 30 mm).
To do this, the included screws are inserted through the mounting holes of the GPS Cradle Mount and the GPS navigation mount and then secured using the included self-locking nuts.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Position the GPS Cradle Mount
- Place the GPS Cradle Mount onto the GPS navigation mount.
- Align the four mounting holes according to the Garmin® AMPS hole pattern (38 × 30 mm).
2. Insert the screws
- Insert the four included screws through the holes of the GPS Cradle Mount and the GPS navigation mount.
3. Secure the GPS Cradle Mount
- Fit the included self-locking nuts onto the screws from the rear.
- Tighten the screws evenly to a torque of 3 Nm.
4. Adjust the extension arm
- Loosen the center screw on the extension arm.
- Move the extension arm into the desired position to optimally position your smartphone within your field of view.
- Then retighten the center screw to a torque of 3 Nm.
Check the fit
- Make sure that all four screws and self-locking nuts are securely tightened.
- Check that the extension arm is securely fixed and cannot move unintentionally.
- Before every ride, check that the mount and your smartphone are securely attached.
