How is the Bike Front Light 270 used in combination with the SP Connect Camera/Light Adapter Kit?Updated a month ago
The SP Connect Bike Front Light 270 can be mounted in combination with the SP Connect Camera/Light Adapter Kit on selected SP Connect out-front mounts.
Compatibility
The Bike Front Light 270 is designed for use with the Camera/Light Adapter Kit and the following SP Connect out-front mounts:
The installation process is identical for all listed mounts.
Step 1: Install the Adapter Plate
First, attach the adapter plate for light/action camera mounting (included with the respective mount).
- Mount the adapter plate to the underside of the mount head
- Use the two included screws for installation
Step 2: Attach the Action Cam Adapter
(The Action Cam Adapter is included in the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.)
- Flip up the lever of the Action Cam Adapter
- Place the Action Cam Adapter onto the installed adapter plate
- Rotate it by 90° to secure it
- Fold the lever back down to lock it in place
The Action Cam Adapter is now securely attached to the mount.
Step 3: Install the Swivel Adapter
(The Swivel Adapter, Quick Screw, and Allen screw are included in the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.)
- Insert the Swivel Adapter (round mount head with semi-circular rails) into the Action Cam Adapter
- Secure it using the Quick Screw (tool-free) or alternatively the Allen screw (Allen key required)
- Make sure to insert the screw on the side without the metal cover
The Camera/Light Adapter Kit is now firmly connected to the mount.
Step 4: Attach the Bike Front Light 270
- Install the out-front mount on your bike handlebar
- Place the Bike Front Light 270 mechanism flat onto the interface of the Swivel Adapter
- Rotate the light by 90° until it locks into place
Done
The Bike Front Light 270 is now securely mounted and ready for use.
