Attaching the Universal Phone Clamp is quick and requires no tools. Please follow these steps:
1. Mount the SP Connect holder on your vehicle
First, securely attach the appropriate SP Connect holder to your vehicle. Make sure it is properly installed and firmly fixed in place.
2. Pull out the crown on the Universal Phone Clamp
Pull out the crown on the Universal Phone Clamp to release the clamping mechanism and adjust it to the size of your smartphone.
3. Insert your smartphone into the Universal Phone Clamp
Place your smartphone centrally into the Universal Phone Clamp. Ensure it is properly aligned and sits evenly within the clamp.
4. Secure your smartphone by tightening the screw
Tighten the adjustment screw until your smartphone is held firmly and securely in place. Make sure the screw is sufficiently tightened to prevent any movement.
5. Push the crown back in to lock the setting
Push the crown back in to lock the adjustment. This ensures your smartphone remains securely fixed in position.
6. Attach the Universal Phone Clamp to the SP Connect holder
Now attach the Universal Phone Clamp, including your smartphone, to the SP Connect holder using the patented twist-to-lock mechanism. Place the mechanism flat (fully aligned) onto the mount.
7. Rotate into the locked position
Turn the Universal Phone Clamp 90° until it clicks into the locked position.
8. Check for secure fit
Before every ride, make sure that the Universal Phone Clamp is properly locked and that the adjustment screw is firmly tightened to keep your smartphone safe and stable.
