How do I properly use the Universal Interface?Updated 24 days ago
We recommend attaching the Universal Interface Mini to a flat and smooth surface.
The original 3M adhesive adheres reliably to plastic, glass, metal, and painted surfaces.
Important notes for attaching it to your device:
A smooth surface is required to securely attach the Universal Interface Mini.
Clean the surface thoroughly using the included alcohol wipe before attaching the interface.
Press the mount down firmly for at least 30 seconds to ensure optimal adhesion.
Since the interface cannot be repositioned, make sure the placement is correct before applying it.
Do not fully load the adapter for several hours to allow the adhesive to develop its full bonding strength (depending on the ambient temperature).
Important notes for attaching it to an SP Connect mount:
Before mounting, make sure the Universal Interface Mini is firmly attached to the device you want to use with the SP Connect system.
Connect the respective SP-Connect mount to your vehicle (Motorbike, Bicycle, Car).
Place the mechanism of the Universal Interface Mini fully and evenly onto the mount interface of the SP Connect mount.
Ensure that the mechanism sits correctly in the mount and then rotate the Universal Interface Mini 90° clockwise until it clicks into the locked position.
Once locked, your device is securely and firmly connected to the SP Connect mount.
