Installing the SP-Connect Camera/Light Adapter Kit together with the SP-Connect Bike Front Light 270 or a GoPro action camera is quick and easy.

Simultaneous use of a smartphone together with a Bike Front Light 270 or a GoPro action camera is possible with the following SP Connect Out-Front mounts:

• Handlebar Mount Pro
• Handlebar Mount Pro MTB
• Road Bike Mount Pro
• Gravel Bike Mount Pro

Installing the Bike Front Light 270

1. Install the mounting plate

First, attach the light/action camera mounting plate (included with the respective mount).

• Mount the plate to the underside of the mount head of the SP Connect Out-Front mount.
• Use the two supplied screws to secure it.

2. Attach the Action Cam Adapter

(The Action Cam Adapter is included in the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.)

• Flip the locking lever on the Action Cam Adapter upwards.
• Place the adapter onto the installed mounting plate.
• Rotate it 90° to lock it into place.
• Fold the lever back down to secure the adapter.

The Action Cam Adapter is now securely attached to the mount.

3. Install the Swivel Adapter

(The Swivel Adapter, Quick Screw, and Allen screw are included in the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.)

• Insert the Swivel Adapter (round mounting head with semi-circular rails) into the Action Cam Adapter.
• Secure it using either the Quick Screw (tool-free) or the Allen screw.
• Make sure to insert the screw from the side without the metal reinforcement plate.

The Camera/Light Adapter Kit is now firmly connected to the mount.

4. Attach the Bike Front Light 270

• Place the mounting mechanism of the Bike Front Light 270 flat onto the Swivel Adapter.
• Rotate the light 90° until it locks into place.

Your front light is now securely mounted and ready to use.

Installing a GoPro Action Camera

1. Install the mounting plate

First, attach the light/action camera mounting plate (included with the respective mount).

• Mount the plate to the underside of the mount head of the SP Connect Out-Front mount.
• Use the two supplied screws to secure it.

2. Attach the Action Cam Adapter

(The Action Cam Adapter is included in the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.)

• Flip the locking lever upwards.
• Place the Action Cam Adapter onto the installed mounting plate.
• Rotate it 90° to secure it.
• Fold the lever back down to lock it in place.

The adapter is now securely mounted.

3. Attach the GoPro

• Insert your GoPro mount into the Camera/Light Adapter.
• Secure the camera using the Quick Screw (tool-free).
• Make sure the screw is inserted from the side without the metal reinforcement plate.

Your GoPro action camera is now securely mounted and ready to use.

Check the Fit

• Before every ride, check that all components are securely attached.
• Make sure that both the smartphone and accessory are properly locked in place.

Result

You can use your smartphone together with either a Bike Front Light 270 or a GoPro action camera on a compatible SP Connect Out-Front mount.
