How do I install the Saddle Mount on my bicycle saddle?Updated 3 months ago

The SP-Connect Saddle Mount attaches directly to your bicycle's saddle rails. Once installed, you can securely mount compatible SP Connect accessories such as the SP Connect Saddle Case or the SP Connect Bike Rear Light using the patented Twist-to-Lock mechanism.

Step-by-step installation

1. Position the Saddle Mount

  • Place the Saddle Mount onto your bicycle's saddle rails.

2. Secure the Saddle Mount

  • Tighten the Saddle Mount according to the installation instructions until it is securely fastened to the saddle rails.

3. Attach your accessory

  • Position the SP Connect Saddle Case or the SP Connect Bike Rear Light flush with the Saddle Mount.
  • Rotate the accessory 90° using the Twist-to-Lock mechanism until it locks securely into place.
  • Note: The SP Connect Bike Rear Light is expected to be available until the end of summer 2026.

Check the installation

  • Make sure the Saddle Mount is firmly attached to the saddle rails.
  • Verify that the mounted accessory is securely locked in place and does not move.
  • Before every ride, check that all components are securely fastened.
