Step 1: Attach the Universal Interface Mini to Your Device

The Universal Interface Mini uses a 3M adhesive backing designed for attachment to suitable flat, smooth surfaces, including compatible plastic, glass, metal, and painted surfaces.

Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Choose a suitable surface: Make sure the mounting area is flat, smooth, and sufficiently large for the entire adhesive surface of the Universal Interface Mini.
2. Clean the surface: Thoroughly clean the mounting area using the included alcohol wipe to remove dirt, grease, and other residues. Allow the surface to dry completely.
3. Check the positioning: Determine the correct placement and orientation before removing the adhesive backing.
4. Apply the interface: Remove the protective film from the adhesive and carefully position the Universal Interface Mini on the prepared surface.
5. Apply firm pressure: Press the Universal Interface Mini firmly against the surface for at least 30 seconds to ensure optimal adhesion.
6. Allow the adhesive to bond: Avoid placing significant stress on the interface for several hours after installation to allow the adhesive to develop sufficient bonding strength.

Important: The adhesive is designed for single use. Once applied, the Universal Interface Mini cannot be repositioned or reliably reattached using the same adhesive.

Avoid attaching the interface to rough, textured, porous, or otherwise unsuitable surfaces, as these may prevent secure adhesion. Adhesive performance can also be affected by the surface material and ambient temperature.

Step 2: Attach Your Device to an SP Connect Mount

Once the Universal Interface Mini is securely attached to your device and the adhesive has developed sufficient bonding strength, you can connect it to a compatible SP Connect mount.

1. Install the SP Connect mount: Ensure that your bicycle, motorcycle, car, or other compatible SP Connect mount is correctly installed and securely fastened.
