No. The Universal Charging Phone Clamp does not feature a magnetic mechanism. The smartphone is securely fixed mechanically using the patented Twist-to-Lock system.
The mechanism is placed onto the mount interface and then rotated 90 degrees until it locks securely in place.
Please note that the Universal Charging Phone Clamp is therefore not compatible with the following magnetic SP Connect mounts:
