No. The SP Connect Brake Mount does not feature integrated vibration damping.
What options are available for adding vibration damping?
Depending on the type of vibration damping you need, there are two upgrade options available:
Option 1: Mag-Align Head A
The SP Connect Mag-Align Head A features integrated vibration damping. It reliably reduces road vibrations, shocks and impacts while riding, helping to provide a smoother and more stable smartphone mounting experience.
To install the Mag-Align Head A on the Brake Mount, you will also need the SP Connect Sprocket Adapter. The Sprocket Adapter must be purchased separately.
Option 2: Anti Vibration Module or Charging Anti Vibration Module
The SP Connect Anti Vibration Module and SP Connect Charging Anti Vibration Module have been specifically developed to reduce high-frequency engine vibrations, helping to provide additional protection for sensitive smartphone camera systems.
Both modules also reliably absorb road vibrations, shocks and impacts. The Charging Anti Vibration Module additionally offers wireless inductive charging for your smartphone.
A SP Connect Sprocket Adapter is also required to install the Anti Vibration Module or Charging Anti Vibration Module on the Brake Mount. However, the Sprocket Adapter is already included with both modules and does not need to be purchased separately.
Additional benefit of the Mag-Align system
The Mag-Align Head A, SP Connect Anti Vibration Module and SP Connect Charging Anti Vibration Module all feature the SP Connect Mag-Align system.
Integrated magnets help guide your SP Connect Phone Case into the correct position, making it quicker, easier and more intuitive to attach your smartphone. The secure mechanical connection is then completed as usual using the proven Twist-to-Lock system.
