SP Connect motorcycle mounts do not feature a dedicated anti-theft system or locking mechanism.

Our motorcycle mounts are designed to provide a stable and reliable attachment to your motorcycle. The respective mounting systems are designed to keep your smartphone securely attached while riding and are not intended as anti-theft devices.

Can the mount remain on the motorcycle?

SP Connect motorcycle mounts are designed for permanent installation on the motorcycle. Depending on the model, they are securely attached to the handlebar, mirror, steering stem, crossbar or another suitable mounting point using screws or clamps.

While removing a permanently installed mount generally requires tools, this should not be considered dedicated anti-theft protection.

Take your smartphone with you when leaving your motorcycle unattended

Your smartphone can be removed from the mount within seconds using the SP Connect Twist-to-Lock System. We therefore recommend always taking your smartphone with you when leaving your motorcycle unattended.
