Most SP Connect bike mounts do not feature a dedicated anti-theft system or locking mechanism.
Our standard bike mounts are designed to provide a stable and reliable attachment to your bike. The respective mounting systems are designed to keep your smartphone securely attached while riding and are not intended as anti-theft devices.
Selected products from the SP Connect E-Cap System are an exception. This exclusive system was developed in collaboration with selected bicycle manufacturers and includes solutions with integrated anti-theft protection.

Please note: The E-Cap System is a dedicated solution for compatible bikes from selected bicycle manufacturers and therefore cannot be used universally on every bike like a standard SP Connect bike mount.
Take your smartphone with you when leaving your bike unattended
With our standard SP Connect bike mounts, your smartphone can be removed from the mount within seconds using the Twist-to-Lock System. We therefore recommend always taking your smartphone with you when leaving your bike unattended.
Summary
