Can I upgrade my existing Charging Anti Vibration Module to the SP Connect Mag-Align system?Updated a month ago

No. If you are using an older version of the SP Connect Charging Anti Vibration Module that does not yet support the SP Connect Mag-Align system, a complete upgrade to Mag-Align is unfortunately not possible.

Using the Mag-Align Adapter

The Mag-Align Adapter can generally be used with older Charging Anti Vibration Modules.

  • The adapter creates additional distance between the smartphone and the Charging Anti Vibration Module.
  • As a result, reliable wireless charging can no longer be guaranteed.
  • In addition, stability may be affected because the Phone Case no longer rests directly on the outer EVA ring of the Charging Anti Vibration Module.

To take full advantage of the Mag-Align system, we recommend upgrading to the current version of the Charging Anti Vibration Module with Mag-Align.
