Yes, in combination with the Camera / Light Adapter Kit*, you can mount the SP Connect Road Bike Mount Pro with the SP Connect Bike Front Light 270 or a GoPro action camera on the underside.
Here’s how you can use your smartphone and accessories simultaneously with the Road Bike Mount Pro:
Mounting the Bike Front Light 270
1: Install the adapter plate
- First, attach the adapter plate for light/action camera mounting (included with the Road Bike Mount Pro)
- Mount the adapter plate to the underside of the mount head
- Use the two included screws
2: Attach the action cam adapter
(The action cam adapter is part of the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.)
- Flip the lever of the action cam adapter upwards
- Place the adapter onto the mounted adapter plate
- Rotate it 90° to lock it
- Flip the lever back down to secure it
The adapter is now securely attached.
3: Install the swivel adapter
(The swivel adapter, quick screw, and Allen screw are part of the Camera/Light Adapter Kit.)
- Insert the swivel adapter (round head with semi-circular rails) into the action cam adapter
- Secure it using the quick screw (tool-free) or alternatively the Allen screw
- Make sure to tighten the screw on the side without metal plating
The Camera/Light Adapter Kit is now firmly mounted.
4: Attach the Bike Front Light 270
- Mount the out-front mount on your handlebar
- Place the Bike Front Light 270 flat onto the swivel adapter
- Rotate it 90° until it locks into place
The front light is now securely mounted and ready to use.
Mounting a GoPro Action Camera
1: Install the adapter plate
- Attach the adapter plate to the underside of the mount head of the Road Bike Mount Pro
- Use the two included screws
2: Attach the action cam adapter
- Flip the lever upwards
- Place the adapter onto the plate
- Rotate it 90° to lock it
- Flip the lever down to secure it
The adapter is now securely attached.
3: Attach the GoPro
- Insert your GoPro mount into the Camera/Light Adapter
- Secure it using the quick screw (tool-free)
- Make sure to tighten the screw on the side without metal plating
The GoPro is now securely mounted and ready to use.
