Yes. With the SP Connect GPS Cradle Mount, you can switch the orientation of your smartphone between portrait and landscape at any time.
To do this, the mounting head is rotated by 90°.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Loosen the mounting head
- Loosen the screw on the mounting head using the supplied Allen key.
2. Rotate the mounting head
- Rotate the mounting head by 90° to the desired position.
3. Secure the mounting head
- Retighten the screw to a torque of 3 Nm.
Check the installation
- Make sure that the mounting head is securely fastened and cannot rotate unintentionally.
- Then attach your smartphone to the mount using your SP Connect Phone Case. Depending on the new position of the mounting head, your smartphone will now be positioned in landscape or portrait orientation.
- Before every ride, check that the screw connection and your smartphone are securely fastened.
